These medications, part of a booming multi-billion-dollar GLP-1 drug market, have revolutionized weight management and metabolic health discussions. However, researchers caution that while these drugs are effective for controlling blood sugar and aiding weight loss, they may also carry underrecognized risks for eye health, making awareness and medical guidance essential before use.
