New Delhi, June 22, 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the results of the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025 prelims. The results were declared on June 20, and candidates who have qualified in the preliminary stage will now move on to the next phase — the mains examination, scheduled for August 10, 2025.

The ESE prelims were conducted on June 8, 2025, across various centers in the country. The exam is held annually to recruit engineers for key technical positions in the central government departments, including the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS), Central Water Engineering, Defence Services, and others.
