Tech Mahindra Q1 FY25 Results: Revenue Misses Estimates Amid Americas Slowdown, Profit Up 34%

The company saw a decline in revenue from the Americas region—its largest market—by nearly 6% YoY, citing reduced spending in automotive and manufacturing sectors. Despite the revenue softness, Tech Mahindra delivered a 34% YoY jump in net profit, reaching ₹1,141 crore, thanks to effective cost-cutting under its ‘Project Fortius’ initiative. EBIT margins also expanded by 260 basis points to 11.1%. The firm secured strong new deal wins worth US $809 million, signaling positive future prospects, though CEO Mohit Joshi noted continued volatility in client spending. The company’s outlook remains cautious, especially with persistent global demand uncertainty, but margin stability and a strong deal pipeline offer optimism for the coming quarters.
