Consumers reported paying between ₹4,999 and ₹8,000 for hair oil and skincare kits, only to receive no products and be ignored by the seller afterward. Victims like Vijhheya, Riya, Shivam Misra, and Deepika have filed complaints on platforms like ConsumerComplaintsCourt.com and India Consumer Forum. The brand operated through the handle sadabahar.essentials, often blocking customers post-payment. These incidents highlight a worrying trend of unregulated Instagram shops scamming users and underscore the urgent need for stricter digital commerce regulations in India. Authorities are being urged to investigate and take action against such deceptive e-commerce practices.
