Global technology leaders such as Google, Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon are playing a transformative role in India’s digital revolution. Google has invested over $10 billion through its Digitization Fund, launched cloud regions in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai, and established an AI research lab in Bengaluru. Apple, shifting a significant part of its iPhone manufacturing to India, opened its first retail stores and is now producing over 7% of global iPhones locally.
Microsoft has strengthened its presence with multiple data centers, an expansive R&D base in Hyderabad, and cloud solutions tailored for Indian MSMEs. Meanwhile, Amazon has committed over $7 billion to the Indian market, expanded AWS cloud infrastructure, and localized its supply chain through partnerships with small sellers and kirana stores. These companies are not only creating jobs and building infrastructure but also aligning with initiatives like Digital India and Make in India, positioning India as a major tech innovation and manufacturing hub on the global map.
