🛣️ Bandikui–Jaipur Expressway: A Game Changer for Delhi-Jaipur Travel

🚀 Expressway Highlights: Why It Matters
The 66.91 km expressway, built at a cost of ₹1,368 crore by NHAI, connects Jaipur Ring Road to the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, significantly improving access to Delhi and NCR. It is a four-lane, access-controlled highway with a top speed limit of 120 km/h.
Following a 10-day toll-free trial starting July 2, toll collection is now active. For small vehicles, the toll between Jaipur and Delhi is approximately ₹680–₹690 — just ₹70 more than the old route via Dausa, but it offers fuel savings and time efficiency by avoiding the Rajadhok toll.
🕒 Reduced Travel Time: Road Revolution
The travel time from Delhi–NCR to Jaipur has drastically dropped from 5–6 hours on NH-48 to just 2.5–3 hours via the new expressway. The Jaipur to Bandikui leg alone now takes only 25–30 minutes, compared to over an hour earlier.
👥 Traveler Feedback: Real Experiences
Amit Yadav, an IT consultant from Gurugram, reported reaching Jaipur in 3.5 hours with no jams or bottlenecks — calling the ride smoother than NH-48.
Pallavi Mehra, a marketing executive, compared the expressway drive to an airport runway, highlighting the vast improvement in quality over the older route.
🌐 Connectivity & Regional Benefits
The expressway features several interchanges, including the Khuri Interchange, improving connectivity to local highways like Manoharpur–Kauthun and nearby villages. It has already diverted nearly 40% of the traffic from NH‑48, reducing congestion and making older routes safer.
Currently, over 15,000 vehicles use this new route daily — a number that continues to grow as awareness spreads.
✅ Why This Matters

This expressway is transforming road travel in Rajasthan — especially for weekend tourists, business commuters, and pilgrims headed to key destinations like Jaipur, Ajmer, and beyond.
