In a deeply disturbing case from Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district, a seven-month pregnant woman was repeatedly raped by a self-proclaimed tantrik under the guise of spiritual healing. The 25-year-old victim had approached the man on June 29, 2025, seeking relief from dizziness and pregnancy discomfort. Exploiting her vulnerable condition, the accused—identified as Shanker Shah—first coerced her into stripping as part of a so-called ritual and then sexually assaulted her. He later repeated the assault during a second visit, threatening to kill her and her husband if she revealed the crime.

Following the second incident, the woman was taken to a government hospital where she was forced to wait for over two hours without medical attention—lying on the floor in pain from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. This shocking case of both sexual violence and medical neglect has sparked outrage, prompting the police to arrest the accused and launch a full investigation.
