The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results for Class 12, and this year’s national performance has shown a notable edge over some state boards. According to official data, the overall national pass percentage stands at 88%, which is 6% higher than that of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, where the average pass rate is around 82%.

The results indicate strong academic performance in northern and central Indian states, with Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana leading in terms of high pass percentages and top-performing students.

📊 Key Highlights:

National CBSE pass percentage: 88%

Jharkhand & Chhattisgarh average: ~82%

Difference: 6% higher success rate at national level

Top-performing regions: Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana

Education experts credit the performance gap to better infrastructure, access to digital learning, and academic resources in CBSE-affiliated schools compared to many regional boards.
