Amitabh Bachchan Explains Why He Avoids Publicly Praising Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan recently opened up about why he refrains from showering public praise on his wife Jaya Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, unlike his son Abhishek Bachchan, who often expresses admiration for them on social media.

Speaking candidly, Amitabh said that he believes some emotions are best kept private and within the family. “I may not always express it on public platforms, but that doesn’t mean I don’t value or appreciate them. I feel certain things are more meaningful when shared in personal moments,” the actor explained.

While Abhishek Bachchan has often praised his mother and wife in interviews and Instagram posts, Amitabh’s more reserved approach reflects his traditional outlook. Fans, however, continue to admire the warmth and mutual respect that the Bachchan family shares—both on and off screen.
