Abhishek Sharma's Father Thanks Yuvraj Singh for Mentorship and Support

New Delhi: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) opener Abhishek Sharma had an impressive outing in IPL 2025, scoring 439 runs from 13 innings. Now, his father Raj Kumar Sharma has publicly thanked former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh for mentoring and guiding his son's career.

Abhishek has been training under Yuvraj Singh since his early cricketing days, and his father believes the former Indian all-rounder played a crucial role in shaping him into the player he is today.

“Yuvraj has been like a big brother and mentor to Abhishek. His guidance and training were instrumental,” said Raj Kumar Sharma in a media interaction.

Although SRH failed to qualify for the playoffs this season, finishing sixth on the points table, Abhishek’s consistent performances at the top of the order were a silver lining for the team.
